Stellar Community Builder Emily and CommuniTEA Infusion

People with disabilities are stellar community builders in Edmonton communities through the CommuniTEA Infusion Project. Telus Optik TV documentary.

In the spring of 2015 we were really excited that Telus approached Skills Society to make a short documentary on the Skills Society  CommuniTEA Infusion Project. Check it out above. We are especially proud of Emily and her team of community builders that have been busy with CommuniTEA Infusion events around the Edmonton area this past summer.

What was great about this year's CommuniTEA Infusion project was that through grants from Telus Community Fund and RBC Foundation, CommuniTEA Infusion was able to employ people with disabilities as community builders for Edmonton neighbourhoods. The project reached more people and neighbourhoods this year than ever before.

This project has to find new funding to run every year and currently needs $20,000 to run for the 2016 season. If you're interested in supporting this innovative social change initiative that empowers people with disabilities and strengthens Edmonton Communities please contact Skills Society's fund development manager Rachel Lawrence- Hohl -
